Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!

I just had my first problem with S2U2.

I connect my Omnia to my corporate Exchagne server which enforces a policy that after 45 inactive minutes the phone locks and I have to enter a code to unlock. No big deal.

What is happening is after that 45 minutes the phone locks. I slide to unlock and enter my password. Next pops up the phones built in default lock screen that I have to enter my password again.

Are you aware of a way around this? Would the software you previousl mention assist at all?

What lock screen pops-up? Is it the WM lock again? I wouldn't think so if you have disabled it in the settings.

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!

Are you refering to Start > Settings >Buttons > Wakeup > When device is woken up, lock device? If so that feature has always been disabled.

If referring to Start > Settings> Lock > Prompt if device unused for, then I cannot disable that. I Believe that is being enfored by my corporate policy. It is dimmed out

Appreciate the help

As long at the box next to 'Prompt if device unused for' is unchecked, the rest should be greyed out, that means the lock is disabled. If you don't have a check there and still get a lock screen (not S2U2's) can you get a screen shot of it?

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!

The box is checked and greyed out so that I cannot uncheck it .
This is probably from my Corporate Policy coming from Exchange

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!

Yeah, that has to be it then. I am guessing there is no legit way of getting around that. I guess the thing to do (unless you don't mind entering two unlock codes) is to disable the PIN lock on S2U2 so all you have to do is slide to unlock and enter one PIN code.

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!

Thats what I will do then. Remove the password from S2U2.
I wish that S2U2 would completely take over the default lock feature of the phone. (Wishlist request!)

Know of any other great add-ons for this device?

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!

I currently just have Mobile Mgr for NetFlix and Pandora installed.

I am just looking for a cool way to waste my time on my bus rides to and from work.

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!

Can someone please post the link to the latest version of S2U2. I had some issues with it before but I believe that was an earlier version.
