Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!
I have a feeling A_C made a slight coding error with PocketWeather. I have seen a few people mention that error, so most likely it will be fixed in the next version (as long as everyone points it out to him).
The carrier name has been a constant with the Omnia...along with the battery animation, and now I am guessing the hepatic feedback (not working on mine anyway). I use the Personalizer app to have a carrier name (of my making) on the lock screen. |

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!
I thought that was pretty cool. I found that putting it in my pocket and leaning on something or using a seatbelt would unlock it and then would launch numerous programs when I pushed against the phone again. I now use S2U2.

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!
I have a i910 and loaded S2U2 and when launched from Program it worked brilliantly. However when I hold down my END button I am presented with the typical lock phone screen.
Can I change this to default to the S2U2 lock instead? Thanks |

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!
Firstly...welcome to the community!!!!
As for your post, the first thing I would do is to disable the WM lock in the settings, and then I would look into AEButton Plus (there is a free version) to map a long press of the END button to activate S2U2. AEButton Plus: http://ae.inc.ru/aebplus.php |

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!
Yeah, its a great phone.
A little off topic for this forum but . . . I still need to get VPN and Remote Desktop to work. Then I will tackle seeing if I can unlock the GPS so it can work with Google Maps. I hear its currently locked down to VZ Navigator only.. Maybe next version they will also include a built in FM receiver so you dont have to hook that cable up to it |

Re: Some S2U2/Omnia love!!!
I don't use VPN or Remote Desktop, but the BT connection is pretty good...I sync and swap files using a BT connection all the time if that helps!!
I know what you mean about FM....Great we have it, but who wants to carry/use that cord all the time?!?! |
