Actually.. With Sprint having the Diamond from HTC, and no clear idea if Verizon will get a version (it's rumored anyway) of their own, this could be their touchscreen smart phone that has no keyboard... They have the TP and the Omnia.. Sprint has the TP and the Diamond.. Don't want a million phones with similiar features competing for a limited set of customers.. That will canibalize sales for Verizon.. No need to spend money on two similiar products to get them FCC-approved if they will compete with each other... Re: omnia comming to sprint??
Why not buy a phone, then choose the service. It seems like jumping providers is based on phone selection- Too bad- thats not the approach outside the US. i personally, wanted the TP but sitting on the pine for the next great phone to drop.- omnia would be a great addition especially if the battery last all day- hell, have you heard of the Nokia N97- sweet phone- to bad its a GSM for the European market.
SPRINT- needs to keep pace with the rest of the providers. just my 2 cents........
