Can the VZ Omnia 2 be unlocked for Sprint?

I was wondering if the Verizon Omnia 2 could be unlocked for Sprint. It looks like a better phone overall than any of Sprints options. I really just want a solid powerful WinMo device with a half way decent Android port. I have a Samsung Moment right now, which has been annoying me with terrible support for months. So I've decided to go back to WinMo which I've always really liked. I have had the Touch Pro before and it was the best phone I have ever had. Even so, if I can get something more powerful it would be nice as the Touch Pro 2 doesn't really seem like much of an upgrade to me.
