spb ms 3.5.x features working properly?

I am currently using the SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.0 on my O2, however, some of the features that spb advertises, like the 3D carousel and the rotating screen (when I turn the phone to landscape) don't work. Is this because I don't have the latest and greatest version (3.5.2)?

*UPDATE*: I upgraded my SPB Mobile Shell version now to 3.5.2. I still, however, am not getting the carousel to function in its 3D mode and it still won't turn to landscape view when the phone is turned sideways.

I've contacted SPB support and currently they have no update or bug fix to recognize the G-sensor in the O2. Said that they are working on a fix for this and will be available in the future.
