How to root a samsung moment - Page 8

Help. I have tried several time to root. When I am in ODIN I get to 11 seconds and get a red FAIL. I have the drivers installed and followed the instructions. Any ideas.

Are you making sure PC Studio is completely closed down?

I really think this thread needs to be cleaned up a bit, like the old information complete removed not just labeled old information.

does any one know if this code needs to be changed to work with my samsung moment
it is for a different language font and i cant get it to work

(my phone is rooted and I can get it to reboot with su enter reboot enter)

su (then wait for the superuser screen and press yes)
mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
chmod 4755 /system/fonts/DroidSansFallback.ttf
dd if=/sdcard/DroidSansFallback.ttf of=/system/fonts/DroidSansFallback.ttf
reboot
