better radio?
 

is there a better radio upgrade for the moment? i am in a good coverage area for sprint but seems like the data is laggy and gives me errors sometimes. iheartradio is constantly lagging. googlemaps gave me errors earlier telling me data error. sometimes i look at the top of the screen and my evdo symbol comes and goes.

Don't know if there is a radio upgrade or not but have you tried updating your PRL list? It might help :scratch:

Maybe its a network or usage issue but at my house.. My Touch Pro easily hit 2.3-2.7 mbps.. And my Moment cant even crack 1 yet..

I'm pretty strait for most part but there is time it likes to cross over to 1x speed and just stay there. So I have to put it into airplane mode and back just to get that ev back. It kinda sucks but can deal with it just wish the gps wasn't as laggy too

yeah, i updated prl and profile. just seems like it is really bad compared to my windows phones i have always used. never got any network errors. have been in same area and same house and i have a lot more trouble staying connected to data with my moment than with my other phones.

Have noticed the same...will try updating PRL. I've had numerous complaints of people trying to call me and it going straight to voicemail, but 5 minutes later calling and rings fine. I have noticed a significant difference in signal and speed from my TP2.

Also, not sure if it has to do w/ Sprint doing something w/ the towers as they are supposed to be getting us 4G! Hopefully that is the case.

i would have to agree... my coworker has a palm pre and gets about 500kb more in download speed, my other coworker has the tp and it even gets 500kb more than me.. that might not sound like a lot but when i'm testing my speed is 256~500kb while everyone else in the building is getting closer to 1mb....

All three of us are on sprint and using the same speedtest.net site... So more the most part i use their wifi bc my moment lags.
