Browser crash?
I hope the video works.
http://s774.photobucket.com/albums/y...rowserFAIL.flv So when I try to open put the browser it will load my homepage (google). Than it tries to find me and after that it just goes back home. Last night I was trying to look up things on the browser but it wouldn't allow me to do any kind of text input. I have cleared cache, restarted the phone and, removed some apps. And the problem is there continuing. ideas? |

Re: Browser crash?
I find it to be very weird. This happens randomly. I always have my gps on and my location on. Never effects anything but battery. I have Opera and it runs smooth. I'm to used to the default and prefer it over any other. I guess i'll just have to get used to opera till there's a fix. I just hope it wont be for to long till someone solves the problem.
Thanks for the feed back=) |

Re: Browser crash?
I have the beta version skyfire for android os. It doesn't have flash working yet, since it doesn't support flash on the beta version. It actually is quite fast and user friendly. I switch back and forth between xscope and skyfire.

Re: Browser crash?
have to make sure you turn off allow use of device location, same problem was happening to me where it would load up and crash, also try logging out of google see if that works for you

Re: Samsung Moment Browser crash at Google.com?
An easier way to solve this problem, is to open the browser on the Sprint page
1. Press the menu key 2. Select "More" 3. Go to the bottom, select "Settings" 4. Go to the bottom again, select "Website settings" 5. Chose Google 6. Select "Clear location access" It would seem Sprint tries to force you to use their search over Goggle's. To permanently by pass this, bookmark Google and then create a link to this bookmark on your main screen. You'll never see Sprint again. |
