Pandora on the Samsung Intrepid?

you need a .cab file, whatever you downloaded should have that in there somewhere. There's a .cab file for Pandora right in this thread in post #2.

Thanks I downloaded the file in post # 2 unrar'ed it which left me with 3 files. I put them on the phone tried opening as i posted before got error message. only thing i could think of is maybe these are not .rar files as my pc recognizes rather i must change the extension to .cab. Any ideas? Thanks again to all!

YES!! I don't know why my pc read it as a .rar but when I changed it to .cab on the phone it worked perfectly! Thanks

Great program, only problem is whenever Pandora's playing my screen won't turn off thus sucking down my battery. Is there a way to get it to go dark while still streaming?

easy just press the power button on the right side it will turn off your screen while still allowing you ţo listen to your music.

So I have Pandora working without any problem. But the audio quality is horrible. I'm a paid subscriber to Pandora. Listening on my PC, it sounds great. Regular audio files play high-quality on my Intrepid, but Pandora sucks.

Anyone else have this issue?

I second your find. I want you to know that before I got an intrepid I had a moto Q9C and I had the mini to regular jack converter and Pandora sounded perfect. The only difference is that the pandora app I was running was designed for my phone at the time. The one we are downloading here was designed for a different phone and by chance it works on our phone. Perhaps if one day they release an actual samsung intrepid version it will sound better.

When I was using my HTC Touch I went to Pandors's web site on the PDA and it just downloaded the correct cab file to my device, I used that same file for my Intrepid and it works just fine.
