<br /> I think most of the HTC phones released after the TP2 do have headset jacks but that doesn't help much any does it. Regarding the constant resets to fix the internet. I have a feeling its a stupid simple fix but i just dread the call to CS to figure out what it is. On second thought i doubt they even have a clue what it is. |

Re: Anyone try the new firmware for Intrepid posted on sprint.com
Earlier this week I reported I wasn't having the internet problems other people were seeing.
Well it started happening, and while it appears I have an active connection at first, the error message pops up (cannot connect / 777) and I have to cycle the phone radio off and on to get anything to connect. This has been about once per day for the last 2 days. sucky. |

Anyone notice using the new bing, it can't see your contact addresses?
Also, no longer when you go to a contact, can you select find their address in bing. Otherwise, I love the voice navigation. |

Still trying to figure out this internet problem with the latest firmware.
It never seems to happen during weekdays (daytime) when the Exchange server is in an active connection (push) mode. It seems like if I keep the internet connection active, I don't see the problem. I keep exchange push on a daytime schedule so I don't have to hear work email coming in all night. The times when I get the loss of internet is overnight, presumably when the data idles. This weekend I went into a poor reception area and lost signal for a while. When I came back into civilization, it wouldn't get internet without cycling the radio. Lastly, as a test over the last few days, I have set my non-exchange mail to check every 5 minutes. I'm assuming this might keep the connection alive (which may affect battery life: who knows?) but since I did that, I have not had the issues. I'm still trying to figure this out. |
This post has been thanked 1 times. |

Re: Anyone try the new firmware for Intrepid posted on sprint.com
Yeah, you gotta go 32 bit to get it to run, I would definitely advise running updates on your phone, as well as your active sync mobile, before trying to perform the flash. Also, don't do it unless you have about three hours to blow. I thought it would take forever! Now that I have it, it appears to have improved the device considerably. I am still testing, but several of the bugs appear to have been resolved.
