interconnection timing out?

Hope someone can help me with this. I installed the Mundi radio program yesterday. It allows streaming of radio stations over wifi or the phone's data connection, but the stations are cutting off because the data connection is shutting itself off after 5m or so. Somehow the phone doesn't realize it's still pulling data maybe? Any help? Sorry but the forum won't allow me to post a link.
