Is there a root flash/hack for the intercept? If so, is there an image that can be flashed like the clockwork or aman ra images for the htc devices that can be used to do a nanadroid backup? If so, where can I find them?

Oops. You are right. That was 3. I found a link to a page and when I tried to follow the methods the root didn't work. I will keep digging some more.

Has anyone tried the SuperOneClick Root or 1-Click root methods that are listed in xda for many android models? My brother doesn't really care if it is a temporary root as long as he can adb his phone and remove the crapware.
