Re: WM 6.1 Update

ive had no issues with my 6.1 update.

the youtube works like a sum*****, only complaint is that its pretty quiet, ill have to try it with my S9 and see if that makes a difference.

the new task manager works quite well, and the new microsoft office stuffs is awesome.

the threaded sms is awesome too. i actually keep my text messages now.

i like the new notes app alot more than the old one. works really well as a shopping list. you can also leave everything on the list and do a strikethrouh, like you would with a pen and paper list.

the 6.1 update also seems to have solved the problem of the incoming ringer starting out quiet, then playing louder than some hot pants from the 80's.

but yeah, my experiance with the 6.1 update can be described like this:

Re: WM 6.1 Update

Hi anyone here know where i can get the information on how to flash a samsung (verizon/Cdma) I760 to Cricket? I flashed my apache, no problems but this is another story. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I went to 3 cell stores and no one could figure it out.

Re: WM 6.1 Update

So far, no difference in battery life. It hasn't hung on me yet. Last night I loaded SPB Pocket Shell, so far so good. I like the threaded SMS, haven't tried the YouTube yet. It does seem faster, though. I installed using the Vista client, and it seemed to hang at first. I was afraid I fried it, but it came back fine.

Re: WM 6.1 Update

one thing ive noticed that really aggrevates me...

if i reset my phone, my sms notification will change from whatever i have it set to, to nothing...

for example:
9AM prior to reset
Ben gets a text, phone vibrates, and will ferrel says, "dont act like your not impressed"

2PM after a reset:
Ben misses 38 text from various people cause my phone did nothing. well, not excatly nothing, but no sound, and no vibrate.

so yeah, that sucks.

Re: WM 6.1 Update

I've just upgraded my SS i760 to 6.1 . Now the IE annoys me with the message "The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again" although I can connect to my wifi network. I'm trying with other browser , hope it'll work this time. Fyi: upgrade my phone with Vista...

Re: WM 6.1 Update

I can't find my USB cable for my i760. Is there any way to update from 6.0 to 6.1 from the SD card?
