Well this afternoon I bought Launcher Pro Plus, but the unlock code got emailed to me and I realized I had no way of copying it from the email and pasting it into the app.

I just went into the browser and copy and pasted into a memo..seems to work fine...maybe launcher pro has it disabled for entering the key? how are you doing copy and paste, long press copy and long press paste?

It does have copy/paste. Move the cursor to where you wanna start or stop, makes no difference, tap/hold it until the cut/pastie screen is displayed and play from there. To paste, tap/hold it and goodness it will work.

Copy and paste in the browser works fine, but I'm talking about the email app. I had heard in the gmail app you can do it in 2.2.

I tried this. Are you working with a different email app by chance? Is there a better one I can use that has this?

people tend to like K-9 mail..and there is another new one goign around called Seven mail

Copy/paste from the email body of text works in 2.2 Froyo currently in the Evo, not yet in 2.1 Eclaire currently in the Epic. You have to wait a bit till 2.2 Froyo is released to Epic users....
