Re: Buying a Samsung Epic 4G on eBay: Safe or not safe?

I would say try your chances in a sprint store. A lot of people have preordered them from sprint as a back up, but plan on getting them from a BB or RS. You just have to wait till 6pm the following the day for all those preorders to be voided and available to the public.

Re: Buying a Samsung Epic 4G on eBay: Safe or not safe?

I have 2 reserved for the 31st at BB. Going to be selling one on ebay and / or craigslist. I am activating a new line and my TP2 is going on it. My line is up for renewal on the 1st and am taking the second Epic. Let me know if your interested.

I ended buying two Samsung Epic 4G's LOL. I get one tomorrow and one on Friday. Now I have to decide whether to sell one or keep both -_-. Gah!

There is only 1 logical solution to your problem...get 3 Epics..this way you can sell one AND keep both

Re: Buying a Samsung Epic 4G on eBay: Safe or not safe?

I got a call from my local Radio Shack where I placed my pre-order to set up an appointment to pick it up. I asked the sales rep how many pre-orders they got and he told me they only got 6. I'm pretty sure you should be able to buy one somewhere on the 31st, and if not, like someone else said, just wait until Sep 2nd and all the "reserved" phones that go unclaimed will be up for grabs.

Re: Buying a Samsung Epic 4G on eBay: Safe or not safe?

But if you do decide to go the eBay route, you're probably going to be OK. I have bought and sold several phones on eBay over the years and I have never gotten screwed (nor have I screwed anyone).
