I think with moderate usage, and being conservative with 4G, the Epic should make it the day, but will CERTAINLY need to be charged at night. Right now, according to the battery stats, about 60% of the battery is going to the screen (I have auto-brightness set, might disable that and go with a low set brightness).

Re: Loving The Epic 4G
Have you tried to push video out through the 3.5mm jack yet?
There's a thread over on XDA suggesting that Sprint requested that they turn off video through the jack. In the manual from the other thread here, there is NO mention of video out except wireless through DLNA. Not a deal breaker for me, but annoyed nonetheless. |

Re: Loving The Epic 4G
I've read about how great and vivid the screen is for video and gaming. However, how is the clarity and readability of the text compared to the Evo as far as web browsing the email is concerned? Thanks!

I'm hoping to get the USB video out cable rumored to be released soon. Our rep at Samsung is staying quiet on whether or not it actually exists, and if it does, if it will work with the Epic. |
