yep, mine is reserved and now have my confirmation number Still going to call eprp because if I do it through them and have it shipped the mail in rebate is instantly applied so I don't have to deal with that bullshit.

I hear that...I'm using this as a last resort. Hoping Best Buy or Radio Shack has preorders as well to avoid this whole mail in rebate thing...

Re: Now Official Epic 4G Release Date: 8/31 Price $250
Now that I think about it....wonder how many of these "reservations" will go unfilled? I'm thinking this is pretty stupid on Sprints part (what else is new?) to not take any kind of deposit. Makes it easy for people to walk away and find other ways to get it and these stores will have a bunch of phones at 6pm that will be available to anyone without a reservation. I know I'll be looking at other places to avoid the mail in rebate, even though I do have a reservation.
Just the way sprint handles things, I can see thing being a huge mess! |

Re: Now Official Epic 4G Release Date: 8/31 Price $250
for an upfront $250*, i expect them to throw in a FULL copy of asphalt 5, not just a demo. why even mention its a demo of asphalt 5 in the first place? what, there's no demo of the game available on the marketplace? is a demo of the game that good that it qualifies as a feature that should be mentioned? its just weird.
I shall begrudgingly pay this to rid myself of the TP2. God knows the price is worth it. *in reality its actually $370 w/contract or $620 w/o contract, assuming you keep the phone for 12 months before upgrading again via sprint premiere. i don't buy sprint's poor explanation of the $10/mo with 4G phones. |

Re: Now Official Epic 4G Release Date: 8/31 Price $250
So, does anyone think there is a chance that Best Buy or Radio Shack might sell this for $199? I was surprised by the $249 price tag - that's more than any other carrier's version of the Galaxy S.
