WM 6.5 is Official.....Yet not available - Page 27

yes but if you recall, we would also have some test roms floating on the net already for carriers besides ATT I found a few weeks ago and we don't for CDMA yet
it makes me very suspicious that not one CDMA carrier rom shipped or dump has been released openly
WM 6.5 may launch but I am seriously doubtful our devices see it tomorrow

recall that when 6.1 was rolled out, it took a wee bit of time before we saw it on carriers...how is this going to be any different?

maybe because some of the carriers (like AT&T) have them already and have released it

there have been leaked sprint 6.5 roms. Also we aren't saying it will be released for sure. We just hope it will be released and have stated why throughout the thread

I already acknowledged that one. Its very weird there is no CDMA roms and it makes me equally skeptical about the release of 6.5 on CDMA tomorrow

i see youre point and agree but it takes me back to one of my earlier post, i dont think we'll have it tomorrow but i think we'll have it before the 11th because sprints starts selling theirs in stores on the 11th. im hoping those will have the official update because that means we'll have it also.

i've done some searching...

apparently someone on the verizon forums emailed tech and got this reply

"Unfortunately, at this time we have not received information regarding a software update for the HTC Touch Pro 2 to Windows Mobile 6.5 or an update for the Touch Flo 3D software. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
However, you may sign up to receive free e-mail updates as to when new products and services are available. To receive your free e-mail update, please click on the following link to view the "E-mail Updates" page of our website..."

It could be a canned response. Let's say they have the update, but last minute bug forces them to delay the release. But they've already promised their customers to release it. It may be a "cover your ***" response, or at least I hope so.
