They are cab files but they just install by themselves. At the moment you can only install to the main memory but i'm sure this will be fixed soon. Also the kill switch that microsoft has implemented is to kill a program that for some strange reason would sneak through there approval process and they would want to get rid of it. I'm sure this would rarely happen and also i read somewhere that once you purchase an app you can continue to use it, or they will issue you a refund. Secondly, you pretty much do have control over the app once you download it. You could easily go to the folder of the content you downloaded and either move or copy it to your storage card

i agree, more info the better

went into verizon today to add insurance to my phone and i asked about the 6.5 upgrade. either they were playing stupid or just were (probably the latter) they didn't know much about, said you should receive an email with more info when they have the upgrade available, thats it. one girl said to call tech support as they know things before the store does. haven't done that yet. so may not be tomorrow, i think the employees woulda known more bout it, but hopefully soon. at least we can play around with the market place

you are correct. I wonder what it is, because games are where people are having the most trouble porting over or the slingbox app, it is not full screen in landscape yet.

once you go into a category on the top right you can set that to free and it shows you the free apps

i just logged on to marketplace again and there was an update....it's installing now

edit: i don't see any changes but they probably are just slowly adding more programs through the day. There was rumored to be 600 apps at the time of launch. There definitely aren't that many in there now we will see what happens

i wonder what the update actually did? we shouldn't have to update just because they added more programs or is it just me who thinks that?
