My opinion is that we should make the kitchen ROM as closely resemble a default Apache ROM as possible, so if that means including the speed dial button then we should do it.

grrr colonel.. i stole my cbow skins from you, you got newbies.. GIVE.. lol

speed dial button, all we need is wher.e

However the crossbow shouldn't be "integrated" into the kitchen, but added optionally if the builder so desires.

I agree on the speed dial button, but hey, we gotta find out why/where its at.

As we're using the cprog from 3.3, it should be "enable-able". Maybe just some reg edit copied in. Find and destroy.

I just have the skins to get smartdialer to match the black dialer of my roms. And you will need some reg entries to get the text to work too.

Do we have to load any cabs from the Sprint EXT ROM? I remember in AKU 3.3 that certain cabs overwrite some the newer SD Card dlls.

Shawn,

Just in case you don't have this handy:

http://ppcgeeks.com/files/speeddialb...rint22_207.zip

I built a ROM from your kitchen, then ran this cab - it added the SpeedDial button and everything else worked just fine.

Thanks for putting this on your radar! You're really knocking down the issues.

I have an empty ExtRom.

I use the SprintExtendedOem - put it in the kitchen, then build. works great.

I need the SprintExtendedOem and cannot get it off the FTP since someone deleted almost all the OEMs off of there 2 days ago and have not replaced them.

Also is this version of the SprintExtendedOem the most current files so I won't have to delete the relative disappearing Mini SD files?

It is on the ftp. It has the updates. OEMs do not appear to have been deleted J_ oems were moved as noted in the kitchen thread.
