Is there a reason I can't download

I clicked on the link ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Apache/Sfaure0...S_r1.2-pre.rar - it asks me for a username and password. I put in my user id - boe and the password I use to log onto the site and it doesn't work. I tried anonymous and anonymous - no luck.

Is this because of my browser - IE7 or something else.

I noticed about 3 days ago - when I log into the site it goes white background with black text - so far this is the only forum I'm having this issue with but it might be something on my PC. As far as I can tell, when I log in, it is going straight to the mobile version - not sure why. I change it back but not sure why it goes to the mobile version.

Thanks

lol.. i'm trying to decide what the intent was? snicker.

Always. I also considered this morning that if you're OEM's are trying in any way to install a netcf version, you need to walk carefully.

this kitchen includes netcf2 allready.

Ok.. confirmation reload completed the "rndis" is a resolved issue. another conflicted module bites the dust. SerialUSBFnModem.dll...

RelNotes and rar.

I will, this time, be posting both a "patched" kitchen, and the "environment" i use to patch that kitchen. That way anybody wanting to see exactly the changes applied can. Course this makes the work i've done getting there seem altogether "paltry."

Snicker.

I understand that the hard work in what you're doing is not moving a few bits around - it's the knowledge, analysis, research and testing.

Short story - years ago I was debugging a device driver I'd written to control microwave TV switches. System kept crashing. 3am. Deadline looming. 2 nights of this. Finally found problem - bug in firmware of HW controller; it kept losing interrupt handler address. Analysis, research & testing = 2 days. Fixing the problem = 15 minutes and 8 bytes of code!
