Yes it is. I only use the HTC Home 6-tab plugin. Nothing else really. It gives you everything you need right there (Time, Favorite people to call, Weather, Favorite programs, Ring mode switcher, audio file player).

do a search for:

HTC Home Customizer

and it should only be a few post down in the results. You will need the customizer to change the icons and stuff but that thread has the links for everything (program and hacks).
