Re: Custom Splash Screens

Yea, doin every frame by hand is quite time consuming. But sometimes you have to, to get the results you want, like on the power rom one i did, everything but the water was hand animated per frame. I know i try to keep mine between 20 and 80 frames depending, and even just on the low side of 20 it takes forever sometimes to do that. I'm pretty sure i know how he did the matrix groove one, not too hard a trick, but it does look nice. You should tell him to jump in on this thread and feel free to post what he wants, i know i would like to see what else he's got laying around.

@Negrito = glad to see your still following the thread, Mr. Mac guy, lol

EDIT: this is way off topic here, but Indagroove, just curious if you are still using ppckitchen to cook with sometimes, i noticed your bepe integration thread over at ppckitchen.org, just wondering if your still using it. I am still messing around with it and finally got a good stable working 21812 rom out of it with updated drivers. Seems to be working good on my phone so far with no issues.

Re: Custom Splash Screens

Hey Dibbson,
How hard would it be to make my avatar not have the blask background?
Or even have the background be the same color as the PPPGeeks Blue?
If its gonna be a pain dont worry bout it, I was just wonderin.
Thanks!

(This probably would have been better PM'd rather than in your "Diamond Splash Screens" thread, sorry)

I use a modified version of Calkulin's kitchen. I was never able to get PPCK to work right with my base, and didn't want to spend the time to look into it. If I do switch kitchens, it'll prolly be to Ervirus' visual kitchen.

Oh yeah, Win 7 is snappy as hell! plus i can tether my Diamond via USB which is Soooo much faster than Bluetooth PAN. So if i dont have wifi available to me and im just on the net then i restart into Windows and open up Chrome. It really amazes me how much faster i can browse the web that way.

And now thanks to hibby im interested in triple booting my Macbook and adding an Ubuntu partition.

Re: Custom Splash Screens

Yea, windows 7 is fairly descent, not a bad OS and it's not even officially out yet. A first for Microsoft, lol, j/k....... sorta. Yeah, i think you can have up to 5 or so OS's on a Mac Book, Mac Pro desktop is another story though. I run 6 OS's on 6 different HD's in my desktop, lol.
