Well, I got it installed somehow...not really sure how though. Sorry. However, the icons don't change went I go through the configuration and it says 'pending' everywhere there should be weather data...

The Inject Widget process made it to the end - as in displayed the "Widget injected successfully" message?

Check list:

• WeatherPanel is installed and running in the Today screen
• You've configured at least one city in WeatherPanel, and successfully downloaded and displayed data for that city.
• You've run the widget configuration to completion (confirmation message displayed)
• You 've exited MS (or soft reset)
  
• One last thing I can think of: I'm not sure when you downloaded WP-Activate.cab, but I fixed a bug in it this morning (see here) and uploaded a new version (it was showing 6 downloads at the time). The bug should have nothing to do with this issue, but it doesn't hurt to get the latest...

by same issue I mean that it hangs on the zi.p portion, with the same error. Then Total Commander never exits. I still got the inject successful message, but can't add the wiget. I downloaded last week, so I'll try the new version in a few.

Attached is a possible fix for the "Mobile Zip interferring with the inject" problem. I'm unable to reproduce the behavior, so I can't test it myself.

Instructions:

• Download the file, unzip and copy InjectWidget.mscr to the WP-Activate installation folder (Program Files\Uranus\WP-Activate)
• Run WP Inject Widget again and see how it behaves

Storyr, thanks for all your help. I got things working now. I did a hard reset, installed WeatherPanel, installed PhatPhinger 320x320 theme, installed icons, set up WeatherPanel, installed Mobile Shell 3, installed WP-Activate then it all just worked! I'm still not sure what changed from my first post.

One other question though...can I use different icons than the two that are installed? Also, is it possible to get WeatherPanel to show up on Mobile Shell?

*EDIT* I didn't use the 'InjectWidget.mscr' to get things working.

Tested it with the new script and I still get the same error. No worries though, I think I'm going to flash to WM 6.5 this weekend. If I add MS 3 back on then I will probably reload everything. So I will revisit if neccessary. Thanks for all your help!

Last night I installed Spb Mobile Shell 3.0.1 Release Candidate 1 (build 6501), which then meant I had to reinstall all my extras anyway, so I installed the newest version of InjectWidget as of last nite (I was evidently one of the 6). I was getting the Pending message as well. I had not had that for any length of time previously. I initially had chosen the Windows Notification Queue option. I went back through Configuration and chose the Sleeping Script option and the icons updated. It may have been coincedence, and they just finally updated. I'll try your newest update tonite when I get home.

This is the same problem as I'm having with my Omnia, but I'm getting stuck at line 127 (also "waitforactive"). New script doesn't correct, unfortunately.
