Mine still only shows the icon from the 1st update many days ago. As mentioned before I think I may somehow have 2 weatherpanlel versions on my phone and I keep pulling the wrong one. I've tried deleting the entire WP and UranusWare directories, re-installing everything, and following all the steps listed here (including the new files in the ZIP), and keep getting the old widget information even after all that.

Going to flash a new ROM tonight, so hopefully I have the successes that others here have posted about. Don't let me hold up applying the new files to your CAB.

Reading the Mortscript forums, the RunAt command has issues (not running) on some devices :disgust:

If you're having refresh problems, try it out and get back to us. Instructions:
  • On your device, run WP Widget Config and stop the refresh ('Never' option)
  • Download the attached zip, extract the two files, and copy to the WP-Activate installation folder - Program Files\UranusWare\WP-Activate (Note: this should overwrite the two files already there)
  • Run WP Widget Config again, and choose a schedule
  • Check your device every so often...
Unfortunately, no change here. Still not getting regular updates. :(

To address the refresh issues, I've tried to make this latest version flexible enough to work on most devices. It boils down to Mortscript. On my Diamond, the Sleep command apparently isn't working reliably, but RunAt command does. So basically, you can choose with method the script uses.

I've also added a couple of registry entries to log the time of the last refresh and the number of refreshes since you last ran the configuration:

Storyr - I installed the new update files, and it seemed to be working fine, but I think it is still not updating regularly. I am running WP in a Pocket Plus tab on my Today screen as well. Could that have anything to do with it?

The reason I think it isn't updating is because yesterday it showed 50 degrees with the moon icon until almost 10 am. And this morning it shows 57 degrees with sunshine, but when I press it to activate the full WP, it shows the current temp as 61. So, WP is updating, just not the widget.

I'm going to uninstall the widget and reinstall using the new cab and see what happens.

story thanks for this great app. When i installed it the temp. is in celsius how can i change it to farenhiet.?

Attention: I found a little bug since I posted last night. There were about 6 downloads - those folks may want to download again.

If you set the refresh rate to manual, it will go into a loop... :disgust:
