I disabled FingerMenu, reran everything, and it worked flawlessly. Below for either your, or anyone's use is a video demonstrating how the injection should run when run correctly.

Hope this helps with some of you out there experiencing problems with the injection.

This is great info. I've solved this problem (running FingerMenu). I simply kill it before starting the injection process. To get it back, just go the FingerMenu's start link, or soft reset.

A GIANT THANKS!!!

Just for that, I'm giving you a free copy of WP-Activate!

One down, one to go. Can you tell me more about the htc menu enhancement? Is it something you install separately?

I doubt if they will. Really, the widget is really just a manipulation of their existing Link widget.

btw... nice "wood" :laughing6:

Yes you can but I cooked it into my rom. So I was using an oem.

I believe it is just a matter of getting the right amount of steps in the script to get it to work. As I ran the MSCR file I kept getting closer to getting it to work but couldn't move forward and got an error at line 311 I think it was.

If I could disable menu enchancement I could probably get it to work.

Have you tried the injection after exiting Touch Flow altogether?

Looking at the CAB for menu enhancement, it's a DLL and may only be activated when Touch Flo is running. I can't install it myself - I'm not running a high enough build...

Updated the CAB (1st post) - it will now kill FingerMenu if it's running. I also made it faster again.

There's no need to reinstall if the injector worked for you the first time...

I will try that.

got it to work!!

I edited the MSCR file and it kept getting further and further as I edited it until an error came up. When tcommander was supposed to exit the first time it wasn't. So in the middle of the mscr I tapped exit with my finger and it finished!!
I'm sure if I edited the mscr file again for the exit it would work without interaction but either way it works!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone and especially storyr!!

Storyr, I first installed WeatherPanel and the Active-Inject soon after your post on the SPB forum. It installed perfectly. I have an HTC Vogue, and installed both programs on the device. Everything worked great, except I noticed I had lost my EV connection and GPS. I could update the EV, but it was unstable. I tried to check my GPS settings with QPST, and it refused to accept the security code. So...what have I done lately that could have screwed things up? The last change was Active-Inject. I uninstalled it, and my GPS was back. I actually have not checked to see if I can access the phone with QPST at this point. I then reinstalled Active-inject to my memory card (which may have been a mistake), and got the Zip error. Although when I exited, everything seemed to work. At least last night they did. Today, I had occasional instances when I got the "WeatherPanel Loading" message, and then nothing. When I opened WeatherPanel it had the correct temp, but the icon would not update. If I went to the Today page, I could open WeatherPanel, close it, and then go to the Lifestyle page and open it there. Last night my GPS was working, today it wasn't. I once again uninstalled the Uranus file, and GPS is now working again. I have Total Commander installed, no menu enhancements that I am aware of, and it went through the installation perfectly the first time. My original installation, which seemed to install correctly, just used the default theme. I will download your updated file and install it when I get home. I realized when reading the past few pages that I have been reinstalling the original version.

I hope we get this figured out, because when it was working it is great. Just one other request when this gets figured out, can we get a bigger icon? With a bigger font for old eyes.

PS. I reinstalled Activate with the updated cab. Hit the error the first time, exited, ran it immediately again, and it went through without a hitch. Currently everything is working just like it should.

I can't imagine how this stuff could affect your GPS, or the other stuff I didn't understand ;-)

Glad you got it working, though.

As far as your request for bigger icons: So far, no. This whole concept is based on a manipulation of the MS Link widget. It will display only icons, and 64x64 is the largest. Spb doesn't publish an API for building 3rd party widgets, and what you're seeing here is the first widget that's not just a re-skin of an existing widget...

Great!

If you have time, I'd still be interested in knowing if the stock .mscr would work when TF isn't running. That way, I could warn others. Thanks again for all of your help...
