s2w Themes for (stock) Touch Diamonds - Page 5

Hey I have a question...How come when I click on Communications in the Settings tab my Background or should I say that entired tab still looks like the Stock Sprint?...Shouldnt that have changed too?...I know you said that your theme is based on the Sprint Stock ROM but I jus figured your theme would have changed that too.

Acedooncoon, that screen is a png file in your windows directory. You can change it out if you want... extract P_BG.png and L_BG.png (landscape) and copy your wallpaper to the file and reinsert the file is 512x512.

Hummm..Im not sure as to how I would do that using ur method...I would like to make it so that whatever image I have can be displayed on all my tabs...I have had themes where whatever wallpaper you chose showed up on all tabs....but the format of the theme didnt allow me to add certain things..I read post about how to do it...but it doesnt work...NOE of them..either one messes up you icon bar...or it messes up your clock...I also used Manila Editor but tht doesnt work either...with that it jus makes all the background on the tabs white..I dunno how to fix it.

Are you saying that the bg on my theme isn't showing up on all your tabs? Or just on the communication tab on settings?

okay sorry ive read the posts on here and am more confused now, which is nothing new. so if i want the daffy duck background and the daisies they will not be in the theme?

No need to feel confused. I am here to answer it. The other backgrounds you see are just example of how well the layout blends.

Here I posted a daffy bg... just unsip and install on the windows folder with total commander for example.

However, if you have your "communications" accessed via the "settings" tab your background will remain sprint or whatever. You have 2 choices... 1. add it as a TAB of its own (which requires some doing IMO) there is a cab out there for that. 2. Do as I suggested before, take whatever picture you're using for your theme and name it P_BG.png put it in your windows folder. Make the image 512x512. This is what I did to make my comm manager window look like the other tabs instead of like sprint. For a while I just let it go and didn't worry about it since I rarely used the tab.... but it got to me and since I am completely happy with my daisies I decided to make the theme complete.

well, I recognized you're in trouble with your time - to make an awesome theme is not to do on the side...

Meanwhile I learned a lot by reading a longer "clock discussion" between eenieMINI and ACoolGuy. So I learned that the file for the no dotted lines is the 74ddfccb_manila - and I would tell you: it works: got a clear screen without dotted lines!
