Custom LG Today Buttons/Samsung Flash Menu by dwizzy130

I made this custom version of LG Today buttons because i was tired of the old, ugly looking LG Menu that the left icon of the LG plugin took you to. So i decided to edit the cab and insert the nice looking Samsung Flash Menu in place of the LG menu. The new menu i believe was taken from a newer Samsung PPC phone (i780 i think) and looks great. I'm not sure if Adobe Flash player is required to use the Samsung menu because i have it cooked into my rom and haven't been able to test it without flash. If someone without flash could test this and report back, that would be great.

****Just to be clear, this only installs the bottom 4 icons you see in the screenshot below and the new menu seen in the lower two screenshots.****



Hitting the left icon takes you here:



Click on one of the icons to view all of the options in that category, for example:



The other LG Today icons are unchanged, The phone icon opens up your phone app, the message icon opens up messaging and the globe icon opens up the Samsung menu again.


*****IMPORTANT*****
It is a known fact that since the Samsung menu was taken from another phone, not every choice in the menus work. Although the number that don't work is much smaller then the ones that didn't work in the normal LG Menu.

Yea, it theoretically should work on any WM6 Pro phone.

I used it for about a week when it came out, just to show my dad my mogul was better than his voyager. He told me today that he just got rid of that for the dare. That guy gets a new phone every 6 months. I told him to buy 2 touch pros and give me one to play with and I can mod his! He said no.

Anyway back on topic, I just flashed to dcd's 3.2.6 so I was looking for something different, I might use this again.

installed on my 6900, looks insane. so far everything works great. got to this site from internet explore button. the orange looks great. installed went to today settings checked box, all good.

this is great for newbies who want a great app. that does almost everything. the favorites is great. whole app. fits perfect on my homescreen, doesn't interfere with all my other stuff. this is an all in one app. thanx again for all your work on this, very user friendly!

just wondering is there any kinda customizing available for this? did i miss something if so was'nt in this thread also how did you get the buttons all the way to the bottum mine sit up just slightly off.

This is not really customizable. And the way i got them down to the bottom is with a blank spacer today plugin. I will post it later when i get on my computer(on my Titan now).

yeah i found the spacer last night in a older verson of this but i like what you have going on here
