Re: Custom Taskbar
Just a preview but this is how the current icon's look on a black background. Once I have all the icon's created I will have people PM me for there input on what options look the best. Once the taskbar is created I will release all the icon's so users can change out for the one he/she prefers. There are what the icon's look like at 64x64 so at 32x32 you will loose some of the detail but not too much.

First I asked him when he creates the image is he doing it in photoshop, then how was he doing his transparency was it by either creating the image or taking the image he found and opening it in photoshop, then to get the transparency background was he doing the following steps. (1) Create a New Transparent File Select File > New from the menu. A window opens with the option to make the file transparent. Once the new file has been created, add your image content to one or more new layers. This will happen automatically if you copy and paste an image into the file. (2) Add a Transparent Layer You can add a transparent layer to an existing file by selecting Layer > New > Layer from the menu. The new layer will be added above the currently selected layer. Drag the new layer below the image's layer. (3) Making the Layer Transparent Using the magic wand or lasso tool select the area of the image you want to be transparent. Hit the Delete button. The selected area is removed and the checkered (transparent) background becomes visible. Then I asked him when he uses IcoFX is he importing the image and selecting True Color + Alpha Chanels (32 bits) and 32x32, then on the next screen for Advance Import under Transparency checking the box Left Bottom Pixel. Lastly I asked him on his image behind the 100 was that area trasnparent in his .png or was it black and the outside of the image transparent. |
