For those running MightyMike's ROM and having the shellres issue install one of the cab's below based upon the taskbar you have either 3, 5 or 6.

However, I ran into a minor problem.

With the new official ROM on the Touch HD, they introduced some "fix" for disappearing GSM connectivity (I was not affected by this bug, but anyway). It has something to do with GPRS auto attach or something alike.
So now, the system doesn't look for the availability of GPRS/EDGE connectivity after, e.g., you disconnect the device from USB/AS.
And the beautiful blue "E" icon is replaced by the standard "E" (226.ico in your first post, in LargeTitleBar.dll), which is "grayed out".
Is it possible to replace this ugly icon with your "E", which could also indicate that GPRS/EDGE is not currently attached/available?

Can you give me a screen shot so I know the Exact "E" Icon you are seeing now. If its the one I am thinking then no problem I can fix it for you.

This fix is for those who were on MightyMike's ROM and still had the stock WM 6.5 start icon and could not change there shellres.192.dll.0409.mui file or rename it.

Since HTC used the the phcanOverbmp.dll to skin the pin dialer and add extra icons to the taskbar, I used this dll to do the skinning of the WM6.5 taskbar. Which worked out perpectly. For this dll to be used you will need to import these reg entries:

Here is the updated WM 6.5 version with the dll's straight from WM 6.5 (only for those running 6.5) with this version GSM users now have colored bars. As always same rules apply as any other taskbars. Any bugs or problems please report back. With this new release most all the icons are controlled by the shellres.192.dll file such as battery and other icons that were located in the phcanOverbmp.dll as far as can be seen WM 6.5 does not come with a phcanOverbmp.dll but will read the file if installed. I have elected to install the file because with the new shellres only 9 battery images are located in the file verses the 101 battery images in the phcanOverbmp.dll

Alright here is the cab for all my Verizon RevA people, just install the cab below it replaces your tapres.192.dll file for the Grey E you will have a Rev A Icon that matches taskbar6

Had to make a correction to the WM6.5 Taskbar, left the Ev Icon's out so problem is fixed and files/cab updated.

Yes Gadgetfreak is working on the correction to this please be patient as he has limited time now and is trying to fix this in what little spare time he has.
