It doesn't break it. Comm Manager doesn't allow you to toggle wifi while it's connected to the computer. If you're not able to toggle it while it's disconnected it is an unrelated issue to another tweak in Diamond Tweak or Advanced Config... search the Touch Pro forum for a fix.

I have never used Diamond Tweak or Advanced Config, and I am unable to use the wifi switch in comm. manager. Even when it is enabled going through start, settings, connections, wireless lan; it still shows as "off" in comm. manager. Other than that, HUGE thumbs up on your modifications!

I will do some confirmation checking but I've not experienced this on my end, and I've seen other threads complaining of this issue, so I'm convinced it's unrelated until I discover or am presented with confirmation to prove otherwise.

Hey Good Things...

Have a rookie question for you if you could indulge.

I have a Touch Diamond since I returned my Touch Pro. I didn't use the slide out keyboard at all and didn't like the bulk.

My question is; do most or all of the registry edits and cabs you've created work on the Diamond as well?

I would think so, but would like your input

By the way, everything I used of your's worked great on the pro

Thank You

Please check it out... I have installed your "tweaks only" package and the blue modified theme. I can't even turn wifi on by clicking "Turn on Wireless LAN" in settings, connections, wireless lan. The only way I can enable wifi now is by going to settings, connections, wifi, menu, turn on wi-fi. I've had this phone for a month already and can guarantee this issue arose after installing one of the two packages from you. Thanks again for your help :)

tek (and others),

I did discover the issue today. Because I just exported my registry settings to create the registry section for the comm manager colors, it exported the \ in the WLAN's Device Name setting as a \\ instead of \ ... Stupid thing!

Anyway, I fixed it and have reposted the cab files. You should replace the old ones with the new. Also, if you want to fix it without reinstalling, just go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\CommManager\WLAN and remove the extra \ in the DeviceName entry.

Re: HOW TO: Customize TouchFLO3D / Manila Themes

Hey I just wanted to say thanks for posting the clear and white flip clocks for Sprint.

I just installed Manilla Customizer today from XDA Developers:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...99&postcount=1

Although the curtains, icons etc seem to work fine, the flip clocks that come with it don't work right on the Sprint/CDMA phones (apparently). I took the zip files you provided, made directories and .jpgs for them as per the Manilla Customizer instructions, and I was able to apply them through that software package!

I'd like to have the today screen background on all tf3d pages, but I'm hesitant to overwrite the original Manila files that come with the device. Does anyone have a zip of the original files for the Sprint Diamonds, or has that change been made into a cab yet?

Cheers,

Jeff

Does anyone know how to change the fonts? I found some tutorials on how to change the WHOLE font by using a font editor and renaming it to Tahoma, HelveticaNueu.. etc. But I want to just change the font for the text in the Mail tab where the subject and body is. I sometimes get emails in Korean and it doesn't show up.
