Ok, I totally screwed something up. Big surprise . This is exactly what I did.
1. Unzipped into empty folder on my desktop.
2. copied folder UL_Diamond into windows folder on PPC.
3. copied file from UltimateLaunch (configuration settings) to /Program Files/UltimateLaunch. This replaced the original that came with UL so I am thinking, "so far, so good".
4. Performed Soft Reset.

This is what I got.


I am thinking I did something really stupid but hey....practice makes perfect. Und3r, can you or anyone else help me out. I really want to play with this.

Alright...I did screw up. I tried again and copied the items from the folder UL_Diamond into the Windows directory instead of the whole folder. This is looking pretty cool. Give me some time to mess with it and test it out and I will give some more feed back.

Yamus you got it to work. Opps my bad copy the upzipped ITEMS only to Windows. IF some of you guys have more timeand expierence and help me cab the OEM I made that would be great!

Yep. I got it working and it looks really great. One thing though. Were any of the shortcuts supposed to work or do we need to set them all up.

On the home screen, the Windows Live shortcut works but none of the other ones do.

On the folder list screen, all of the icons take me to the same place in some type of file explorer. I am assuming that this is so we can set up shortcuts to whatever folders we want.

PLAYMUSIC screen takes me to windows media player but there is red lettering across the bottom of the page that says "No path to DLL found"

SETTINGS screen. The comm manager icon works but I get the same error when I press all of the other ones.

WEATHER SCREEN - has some cool icons that switch everytime i press the screen but I am getting the same error message as all of the ones on the setting screen.

FAVORITE SITE SCREEN - works awesome.

There was my rundown. I am familiar with customizing UL so if I need to customize most of this myself or download apps, just let me know. Either way, it looks really, really good. Keep up the good work.

yeah like i said before. This is a pre-release. If you use spb plus the settings should work with no problems. if someone know the path and how to activate each settings I can change all of the links.

You need to have the wmp today plugin for the music screen to work correctly.
I dont have a cab version of wmp today plug. If someone does please upload.

Weather everyone I find uses their own weather program. I made a really cool one with Weather Panel and will upload tonight.

Heres a oem of yahoo2go 3.0beta.

Instructions Unzip and Place the 2 folders on you SD Card. Path /Storage Card/Program Files/*2 HERE*

love the dialer...my question is this.

i do not have the UL in my touch...all i have is the spb shell and a diamond skin on it.

i like that set up but dont have a dialer and want this one (looks 5x better than OEM)

so can i and how do i install it? i do not know how to mess with phone other than installing cabs and copy and paste skins (takes me a couple of time to figure out the copy and past)

any help please.

i tried copying all the files in the folder (UND3RMYSP3LL DIAMOND Dialer) right to \windows and soft reset and no change on the dialer.

not sure if that is the procedure but i gave it a shot and nothing happened.

again Help please......

i made a cab, not really sure if i did it right. Im a newbie at making cabs but your more than welcome to try it out!!!
