2 Attachment(s)
This was created by Greatbal over at XDA. As you can see, he does fantastic work! For the Noobs, it's a theme for SPB Mobile Shell 2.1 and you will need to install that program before you can get this on your phone. Here's the link:

Re: Diamond Theme for SPB Mobile Shell 2.1
I'm new to Mobile Shell. Is there a way to load this theme but still keep the default theme as well to switch over? The instructions say to overwrite the files in the main Mobile Shell folder, but what if I want to have numerous themes and switch between them.
Yes, I know I could copy the files to another folder and save them there, but I'm just curious if there is a cleaner way. This question is for those that have used Mobile Shell quite a bit. Thanks! |
Re: Diamond Theme for SPB Mobile Shell 2.1
how do i installed this?
|
Re: Diamond Theme for SPB Mobile Shell 2.1
I'm not aware of any way to keep the themes separate. I would be interested in the solution as well if anyone can come up with anything.

Re: Diamond Theme for SPB Mobile Shell 2.1
First, you'll need to upgrade it to version 2.1 from www.spbsoftwarehouse.com. Then download the zip file and open it. Copy the files in Files directory (from the zipped folder) to your SPB MS2.1 installation folder (on your phone), copy files in Fonts directory (from the zipped folder) to your \Windows\Fonts folder (on your phone). After doing all that, soft reset.

In SPB Mobile Shell, go to Settings>SPB Mobile Shell>Menu>About. Or, from the Today Screen, go to Start>Settings>System Tab>SPB Mobile Shell>Menu>About.

Re: Diamond Theme for SPB Mobile Shell 2.1
Took mine down. I tried this Mobile Shell and it's OK, but meh...I'm also not sure I like the Diamond theme. It's very black and white. I'm more of a color guy. I think the creator did an excellent job, but really, the thing about the Diamond to me is how it works and flows and not so much about just the look. I also don't really care for the contacts portion of Mobile Shell. If this theme could somehow incorporate the contacts portion of the Diamond then it might be the right one for me.
