Re: Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

I have had my Sprint Touch for about 6 wks now. I have been lurking, reading, trying and hard resetting daily. My touch has become a hobby and I have found, like everything else, you can't eat the whole pizza in one bite. Eating a slice one bite at a time works best. First get a backup program, I use Sprite and do regular backups at times when the pda (phone) is working well.
Don't worry about the WM7 theme yet. Get the programs the theme runs off of to work first. I would suggest Weatherpanel (WP). There is a great post here Themes/weatherpanel freaks or something like that that has some awesome posters. Once you understand WP and have it working move to the next program (UltimateLaunch) and so forth. Remember to backup!
This is a great learning experience if you don't give up but take it in small bites the PPCGeeks will be around to help ... it is an awesome community.

Re: Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

In the Today/Items, highlight WeatherPanel then select options/display and choose the theme, layout and icon set that match the WM7 theme.

Re: Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

rtlsnke maybe you could give me a little more details about what i should see.

under the Today/Items, WeatherPanel then options/display I see the following:

Theme: = either Default or digits
Layout: = Default-large-Fruitiger.wpl ect.
Icon Set: = default or Moon

am i missing anything?

Re: Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

Evidently you missed a step. In the littlerain folder under weatherpanel are two additional folders (dash icon and Shine WP II) They have to be moved as follows: Weather Panel: + Dash Icon Folder: copy to MarsWare\Weatherpanel\Icons\ ; Shine WP II Folder : copy to MarsWare\Weatherpanel\Themes\. When this is done you will see them in the drop down lists.

Re: Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

Simply move the entire folder to the appropriate subfolder of WP. A fresh install of WP should only have Default folders and you will add Dash Icons to the Icon folder and Shine WP II to the Theme folder
