Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

I am using WAD on a Sprint Touch with no problems at all. Not using HTC Customizer, though, but tons of other stuff.

I am guessing a hhc home customizer issue or memory issue even though my device (touch) has quite a bit of memory. I should have downloaded the trial version but I paid and it doesnt look as though Chris will respond to my emails. Thanks for all those who tried to help on this thread.
Herbster, please pardon my forum name. I don't believe I ever received an email concerning this issue. I do keep my spam filters set pretty high due to the fact that I receive more than 1,000 spams per day. So, I apologize for that.

As for the freezing, I haven't experienced this, yet. Are you trying the latest beta or the 1.3.0.7 version?

Just for the record I think "Chris" is one of the most responsive and interactive software developer/forum admins I have even seen.

BTW, I blame HTC HOME for most problems and life has been more stable since I was able to get rid of it. Do yourself a favor and get rid of the HTC HOME/Customizer.

Did you mean to say HTC Home, Because HTC Home Customizer is something totally different. I haven't had issues with either app. I have always been able to institute the HTC Home app into Chris' WAD WA applications with out issue. I think those having these functionality issues should really look at the other apps on their device to find a possible conflict.

yes you are correct I did not mean Customizer. I am too scared (and dont have the memory) to install HTC Home on top of WAD2.

Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

I think the problem here is most likely the Home Customizer. It's designed to look for HTC Home on the Today screen, so, when it reactivates "Home", it does so on the Today screen, causing multiple copies of it to be running simultaneously.

What I would do is first, disable HTC Home on WAD, run the Home Customizer, then after you've applied the settings, reenable HTC Home on WAD. This will simultaneously disable it on the Today screen in an attempt to stabilize the system.

Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

To the MODS can one of you combine my WAD Tutorial as well as my WAD Themes into one seperate Thread. This would prevent various threads on basicly the same material just new designs being added.
Thanks in advance.

Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

I recently did a title search for tutorial and this just happened to be one of the ones that came up. I have stickied all of them and plan on picking apart each one until I can contribute to this community to the best of my ability.

This will be great because I have already started with Vega's theme tutorial and this will go good right behind it. Thanks for this and for giving other people the opportunity to learn and give back to those who have given so much to them.

Later,
Yamus
