WA3 will conflict with the HTC task manager and will crash pretty quick if you don't disable the quick menu and X-button features of Task Manager.

And you don't need WA3 for WAD but you will not be able to make many of the function calls (cascading menus, task list) that are available in WAD.

Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

Wher would quick menu and x button features be in? Is it in one of the wisbar programs? I am reluctant to go for a third try as it has frozen twice now. Thanks for your response.

Start> Settings> system> Task Manager

I don't use WA3 right now as it might be slowing the os down a bit.

Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

Thanks Goddbody! I got your pm, and have been working hard to get this up. Have kind of boot-legged it, but hey! I will go through again, when I get a little time. The chess picture looks grey on my screen, not sure what's up with that. I have the WisBar Advance 3, and that may be the cause of issues (reading from some other's that posted problems and is using WA3)? Thanks for all of your assistance, it's appreciated.

I remember that I couldn't open up the icons in the attachments that you pm'd me, although everything else opened just fine.

Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

Thanks acarnut. I had a brain freeze on that question. I will disbale both of them and try the program again. I have the older versions of wisbar advanced and desktop. Is it possible to just use desktop to acheive icons on the bottom portion of today screen and keep hhc home customizer for the top portion?

Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

Uh folks keep in mind that WAD 3 is currently running under Beta. The zip file containing all of the icons, also had cab files for WA 2 (Not WA 3) and WAD. I dont like using Beta software for the simle reasons that you have been posting regarding getting it up and running. I cant tell you why you can not extract those icons? seems as if your having some serious system issues with your device. I don't think the average user has as many of the device issues that you describe. You might want to try looking into swaping that device out at your local Sprint Store. Just a thought.

Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

Mine is not a device issue but some sort of compatabilty issue and others on the Lakeridge forums have had similar problems and the owner has not found the answer to the issues. There are mutiple posts on "freeze or freezing and wad or desktop. The owner of Lakeridge (Chris) has never responded to my questions via email. Too bad because it has worked for many. I am guessing a hhc home customizer issue or memory issue even though my device (touch) has quite a bit of memory. I should have downloaded the trial version but I paid and it doesnt look as though Chris will respond to my emails. Thanks for all those who tried to help on this thread.

Re: My Today WAD Tutorial

OOps I stand corrected I keep thinking I am talking to all Mogule owners. I forget you guys are using the Touch. Sounds pretty unfair after purchasing the app and no support or email response from the developer. Hopefully he will find a fix for you guys.

Thanks for all your help Goddbody. I will continue to search from time to time on both message boards for a fix. I have run out of ideas to try at this point. If you hear of anyone that has a fix or think of any other ideas plz let me know.
