The same way you customize any other icon but in the command line put the \Windows\MakePhoneCall.exe. Then in the arguments line just put the number of the person you would like to call, and in the icon just put the picture that you would like displayed for that contact. It works perfectly. Once setup, you click on the icon and it opens the dialer and is calling that person.
I have the Touch & this didn't work for me...

Re: iFonz - Must see app!

I tested it on my touch and it works. You might want to double check your path. it might also have something to do with your dialer? probably not, but which one are you using?

You're right... It was me. I manually entered the command by typing it in, that doesn't work... lol
Thanks Chainsaw!!!

I still can link my HTC weather though, can't find the path, any wisdom on that?

I can't find anything for that. I just use my On Demand for now or minimize iFonz. Pretty lame solutions if you ask me though. So if anyone else knows of a better way feel free to post......like now.....hahhaha

Re: iFonz - Must see app!

OK.. I am going to redo this.. This program is so slow, my Touch is fast with everything, except something is wrong with this thing.. WHAT IS THE POINT OF IT?? Its not an item or a plugin so what do you use it for?? Its kind of like starting your computer in the morning and double clicking the vista icon..

Re: iFonz - Must see app!

Ok, well maybe its not for you, but for most of us in this thread - it does what we want it to do. I have mine come up when windows starts, so when I reset my phone, it is on. The default animation is SLOW, but I just turned the animation off and it runs fine. I have a touch too. It is just like PointUI or other 'program' type interfaces. Some of us just like it simple (not having to purchase extravagant programs, tweaking registries, etc.) If it were to ever act up....I can shut it off. But, for me, it doesn't act up and it is an easily run, used, and customizable interface that I like better than the default - without having to completely give up the default.

So quit hatin!!! Hahahahah

Have you tried Torx's yet? It looks pretty cool, the graphics are supposed to be better, it's just too involved for me
