weird. i installed the cab directly on the phone and rebooted and nothing happens. the dialer is still the same... this is the second time.. am i missing a step?

Probably the same problem I'm having. Make sure you completely uninstall your old dialer

how do you uninstall the old dialer? i haven't installed any dialer.. it's just the windows oem one.

Finally got it off!!!! I was able to install the RAF Black and Silver dialer, soft reset and it looks 100% better. Thanks for helping bro

You shouldn't have to uninstall the OEM dialer. After you install the cab did you do a soft reset?

I don't know if this is the case but did you have another phone dialer on and if so try uninstalling that one first and then reinstalling the mobile vista
