Anyone ever tried "Freestyl" Flash based iPhone style launcher ???

Adobe Flash Lite download link.

You will have to enter your email address and create a password, agree to the agreement , then download the relevant 5.0 cab file for your device (either Pocket PC or Smart Phone).

Depending on your particular device, you may already have .NET CF 2 built into the ROM, so it may not be necessary to install .NET CF 2.

Try installing the Adobe Flash Lite 2.1 first, soft reset, then fire up Freestyl and see if it works.

If you are still only get a black screen after about 30 seconds of installing and launching Freestyl you can do one of the following things:

1. Press and hold an area on the screen with your finger or the stylus for about two seconds (you should see a little dotted circle appear). A menu should open, press the first option "Open File" --> Press/Click the "Launcher.swf" file found under the folder labeled "Freestyl."

2. To solve the above problem I linked the FUIStarter exe file (found in "My Device" --> "Program Files" --> "Freestyl") to a hard key*, so anytime I launch Freestyl after a Soft Reset and I get the black screen, I just click the linked hard key to basically launch the application again (which always loads the application after a few seconds).


*Hard key reassignment (for noobs):

Start --> Settings --> Buttons --> Select the button/hard key --> Choose Freestyl Startup from the drop down list at the bottom to assign the program to the selected button/hard key.

i keep gettint the black screen...anything i can do?

Those are the only two known solutions to that problem as far as I know .

Run the installation cab file again, soft reset and give it another go.
