I can't seem to find the weather code for Bridgetown, Barbados (my city and country) so I just used the ones that were already there. When I compared them to the ones on yahoo weather they were identical.
I dunno what that Weather icon points to, coz it is on the last page of Freestyl (the dedicated config page), so I can't make any changes to those icons. Last edited by chaosxj349; 01-20-2008 at 09:52 PM. |

My Mobiler gives you PC desktop control of your phone as if you were clicking the screen, and has a screen capture utility too

Ok cmajewsk, I've been doing some research on your Weather Icon problem and this is what I have discovered (also from viewing your post on the Freestyl forum).
From Freestyl Website Main Page: "As you can see with the pic in the post… the weather configuration will be controlled through the Configuration App and you will be able to setup 2 differnent zip codes (or location codes so it should work in other countries)… one for your "home" zone and one for your "away" zone… figure if you are traveling that you setup the away for where you are going… maybe if you work an hour or two from home you can configure your two zones so you can see the weather for both work and home." So basically, the weather page that comes up in Freestyl is a built in or hard coded applet (like the four default buttons at the bottom), which just pulls and displays the data retrieved from http://weather.yahoo.com. What you were doing basically, was mapping a weather icon to an application or a website, which will always launch your default browser to display the weather data. The only way to see the weather screen using the built in Freestyl applet (after keying in your code in the config screen), is to click on the weather icon located on the 5th page of icons. On a side note, I was able to find my country code by following the build notes below, just in case anyone else needs to find their code, it will be located in your address bar, after following the below link and either selecting your city from the dropdown box, or by following the links under "Browse for U.S. and International Forecasts." From Freestyl v0.1.1.1 Build Notes: "The FreeStyl Weather System is now included in the Launcher. The Weather screen is accessed from the 5th page of icons (the page that contains the configuration link, etc). Two locations are enterable in the configuration applet. US users can use their Zip Code, while international users can visit http://weather.yahoo.com and obtain their location code from the URL at Yahoo (ie, for France it will be something like FRXX0234)." |

VITO SMS-Chat v1.0 (Cracked Full Version)
As promised, here is another WONDERFUL application which can be linked to Freesytl, which gives the term "stylus free" its true meaning.
Instructions: 1. Open cab file and store to device main memory. 2. Soft reset device (had a problem with my contact list coming up blank and this resolved the problem). 3. Link to desired icon in Freestyl Applet (the one currently used for messaging most likely) and enjoy. Notes: 1. Instead of closing the program, just minimize it to run in the background. This saves the application having to load up each time with the little splash screen animation. Granted it doesn't take very long, but 2 seconds is a looong time when you want to send a sms in a hurry . 2. Your current sms messages are moved to a new SMS Chat folder in your current WM SMS/MMS program (so no worries about loosing your messages ).
