I just tweaked V3.1 a little bit more so check it out.
If you have a previous version installed, completely uninstall it and soft reset and then install the new one and soft reset and then you would be fully updated.

this theme is awesome. i have spent the last 10 hours in making a VGA skin for it. it works wonder. i will post it here soon as soon as i can one little issue resovle. i can not get the short cut to contacts/phone book to launch. would you please help?

Ok, that's another issue that depends on the builds and custom roms. The icon is mapped to windows\calculator.exe and it needs to be changed to(in your case I believe) windows\mobilecalculator.exe.
I will upload a custom skin.xml file in this post just for you.
Dl it, and unzip it into the program files\rlToday\Simple iPhone Theme V3.1 By dwizzy130 folder and overwrite the old one.

Awesome! You're the best. I'll check it out. I have WM6.1 which was the unofficial/official release of a Verizon Rom.

If that's not the right path to the calculator. I would imagine I could change the your xml text to the correct calculator path??? and then overwrite?

Thanks for your hard work. I've used other programs, WAD2, mobile shell, etc. But what you've created with rltoday is the most stable and the less buggy.

I have followed all of your directions in regards to the install of iphone v3.1 but everything appears really small on my screen. could you please help me out and tell me what i might be doing wrong?

ok for the last couple of days or at least 15 hours i have been working furiously on the VGA skin for dwizzy simple iphone theme and this is what i got:




feb 11: the cab is updated with working calendar and digital clock below it. also updated were several icons. contact link is now link to icontact.exe, so you may want to install icontact.

for those folks who have a vga device, you can get the cabs here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1DCGT9F8

instruction: all that you need is the two above cabs in the single zip file above. i recommend install nuenobar first then the theme cab after.

restart your device, go into your today setting and enable rltoday.

ohyeah you may want to disable all your today list if you have anything enabled.

in addition to dwizzy qvga theme, i have also add call history button/shortcut with number of missed call at the bottom, and number of voicemail also added to the corner of the phone icon.

dwizzy deserve all the credits theme.

also credit to n2chem for the nuenobar, and jackleleung for the call history shortcut.

issue: i can not link the contact button to launch the phone book. maybe someone can help.

You did a very nice job with this.
Unfortunatley it experiences the same problem with the missed calls that my V2.0 theme had so that is why I removed it in V3.x
Here is s screenshot of it installed on the emulator with a stock ROM:

The missed calls show up as xxx untill you get one but then after you dismiss the notification and soft reset, it goes back to xxx.
As far as I know, there is no fix for it.
Great work though, I think it will keep the VGA users at bay for a bit.lol

hey dwizzy, i tried to replicate what you re doing, and it still shows up as zero for me and not xxx. i've tested on 2 different diamonds, one with wm6 build 20764 and 21109. it always shows as zero when i have zero miss call, even after i dismissed the notification and soft reset. but i'm sure ppl will run into this same problem.

by the way, any idea on how to launch the phone book?

I think he mentioned wm 6.1 messes up the call numbers

thats what i've been using. some of the latest wm6.1 builds and do not see the problem. i'm sure it exist, but it does work for me.

Can anyone please tell me how to change the tomtom icon to access my sprint telenav and how to get the contacts tab to work and how to also utilize the weather icon that came in the zip file instead of the googlemaps icon on the qvga version that was so nicely created for us.
