NOTE TO ALL USERS
This theme like many others may require some tweaking and tinkering because not all devices and os installs are the same. Wisbar theming is not for the noob at heart, so if youre looking for a quick setup try itask or grumps iphone. These theme require basic knowledge of using wisbar products. Thanks.

When everythings been tweaked and adjusted to your needs, tap/hold lock all items on the page. Tap/hold lock all items on the dock. Exit out of Author mode

- Several icons were updated in height, size, and color, telco icons added to "iPhone" folder so delete the original and replace with 0.3. Go into settings/wisbar theme and/or delete the old 0.1 or 0.2, and install and find 0.3
- Icons are custom2(tmobile), custom3(at&t), custom4(sprint). Goto Wisbar Settings/Taskbar and choose your carrier in the "Button Name", Make item visible, and Choose Align LEFT.
- Blue Batt charge icon still exists, it was just fully charged in picture taking.
- Also a new WA3 version has just been released for Nov 13, v3.1.0.3, so make sure you update for the heck of it!

- Place the "iPhone_Landscape" folder in the "windows/themes/desktop" folder
A new landscape carbon springboard and landscape black background were added to the package of graphics in the Portrait folder. The landscape theme calls on the graphics in the portrait folder.
- For best results, change the phatphinger layout display to "Phat(240x320)+145.wpl". Since adding the landscape it doesnt fit quite right, this layout size looks good in both portrait and fits well in landscape.

Theres very important installation instructions regarding the order of installing the apps, wa3, and wad.

Feel free to throw out a few icon requests if you need some custom icons made for your apps. Ive slimmed it all down to the bare essentials to be space saving and fast loading. Buttons are "tactile" for that feedback feeling, wa3 buttons are tactile as well, and nice loading animation created too. All icons are included as well.

Enjoy and feel free to post bugs or general feedback.

In your zip, you have one directory as "Iphone" and another one as "Iphone_Portrait"

when i slide my phone open to put it into landscape... the background is the normal blue one, not all black. (its all black in the normal portrate mode tho). does anybody know how to fix that?

GTA, i did not create a landscape theme, whats it probably doing it defaulting and displaying the stock landscape theme, which is "qvga_landscape" or something like that.
Personally, i never use my phone in landscape mode, so i did away with it.

Now if there was a way to be able to read what I'm typing on my HTC Touch with threaded SMS everything would be perfect.

so since you didn set it up in landscape also then it wont worjk on my phone? also how do i set it u on to my phone still a little new to this site and stil trying to figure everything out. if you can or anbody can help me out a little i have some questions. i have a t-mobile wing phone and i want to change it to the iphone style or some other style.

it'll still work on your phone, im sure you use your phone in portrait mode more often, so just goto wisbar desktop theme settings and make sure iPhone_Portrait is selected in the potrait tab options. I might go ahead and create a nice landscape version here soon... since it seems alot of people really do use landscape mode.

I've installed everything minus the dialer skin. Been using weatherpanal with phatphinger for awhile now so it was already loaded. The iphone WAD and WA3 skins are working perfectly on my xv6700 with the latest helmi wm6 kitchen rom installed. I like the iphone portrait display, it will most likely become my skin of choice for a while. I like how the calendar icon is setup to show the current date and day. The red circle icons that update to show your current sms count and missed calls are cool as well. Been busy setting up the games page and the more page.
Would really like to see a landscape version of this, I use landscape mode a ton, being a 6700 user, the screen goes to landscape whenever the hardware keyboard is opened. Landscape skin would make this iphone setup complete, everything is looking and working great so far. Thanks.

and read the readme file included folks, everything you need to know is already in there. There are step-by-step instructions through all of the installation procedures and descriptions of which options to check and uncheck in the settings menus so everything looks as intended.

This looks great. I've been running Lazyboy's theme with WA3 and have been having a few issues... I can't seem to get the top bar to go black. I've been f'ing with it for a few days and can't get it to work. Honestly I'm tired of messing with it.

So I think I'll install yours and see what happens. It looks like you did it in WA3 so I'm not expecting any issues.

just 2 quick ?'s for you as I'm not sure I see the specifics in the readme

1) I assume your calendar button is dynamic and updates the date?
2) there was a guy posting somewhere (i've searched my ass off and can't find it) as to how to get the 73 to show the last updated temperature?

yes, calendar is dynamic
no, wisbar products dont support weather information pulling. rltoday and itask have this ability though. i'll look more into it

is it necessary to uninstall lazyboy's theme first or can u have both using the same WAD and different Wisbar?

here's the problem I had with Lazyboy's theme and now with yours. I'm sure it's something stupid I'm not doing.

See the top menu bar? How do I change that colour to black? Also - have you had any luck with getting your logo where the start is? it used to be called custom1_normal.png or something similar.

Also.. I like the larger image sizes over lazyboy's theme... his images were 40x40 -- yours are 51x51.

This assumes you already have WAD and WA3 on your device. If not then uninstall WA2 and WAD and follow the readme about installing WA3 and WAD again.

Since i already have them on my device here's what I did - still have LB's theme on here too.

Just take your themes folder... rename it themes_old.

Then create a new themes folder at the root, copy desktop folder from themes_old to the new folder and then paste torx's portrait and landscape folders in there.

Go to theme manager --- then desktop -- you'll see the 2 themes in there... landscape and portrait... choose them.

im looking @ the readme... but Im new to this and do I ahve to pay for each program?

ok so I believe im screwed, I ran into the WA3 themes bug because apparently uninstalling WA3 doesnt totally get rid of it

short of doing a hard reset, how can I completely erase WA3 from my phone completely so I have to re-register it when I install it on my phone?

grab a copy of memmaid cleaner... that should help you remove it.

its actually even more simple than that, all I did was installed it the way described along with LB's theme, I have both WA2 and WA3 (yes I know its kind of a waste of space but I have PLENTY of memory left) and all u have to change is the theme you select in WAD.

that being said, it looks like you arent running the WA3 theme from torx files cuz the top bar looks like the stock WA3 theme.

and to change the color, its simply the iphone tsk file included in the folder( or u can use lazyboy's allblack.tsk). Just put that on your phone and select is through settings-> today screen

I have that setting running... I must be missing something simple.

davee, it looks like you dont have the WA3 iphone theme setup properly, thats why your not getting the solid black bar at top with my custom icons.

drop "iphone" folder into program files/lakeridge/wisbar advance/
then goto wisbar settings/wisbar advance themes and choose install, drill down to that
iphone dir and select iphone v0.1 or whatever..

it doesnt take a hard reset..
just exit out of both programs, uninstall both, go to program files and delete lakeridge folder
reinstall WAD FIRST, then WA3 nest.. follow procedure as neccessary.

I think it was because of the way I had installed WA3 and WAD from previously. So I uninstalled it, reinstalled WAD first, then WA3. Then followed the steps above and it's working now.

How about changing the "start" and the windows icon at the top? can that be done? in the older theme I was using, I could replace the custom1_***.png there and that would use my customized logo.

Wow, awesome stuff, I had to buy wisbar desktop, I couldn't find it any where. I was stuck with that gray taskbar but followed the directions above to install it, I figured it would show up as iphone theme, didn't realize I had to "Install", iPhone v0.1..etc and search for it, now all is well and it looks awesome! might make a youtube video of the thing in action..

cool, yea i'll get started on creating telco labels for placement next to signal/start. Im tryin to keep file size down of the whole thing because wisbar theming isnt the fastest option in the world.

I had to press the windows hard button to get my menu up with the default settings though... threw me for a loop at first.. but after looking at it this way i kinda like it.

One think I would like to do is set my Sprint logo to the casc start menu. But each time I do this, it has the logo and then says "start" afterwards. Is there a way to avoid this? Is there an exe I can link that button to?

Hey Torx I got an icon request, you think you can make the clock icon found on the iphone (and all other iphone themes lol) because I want to be able to use my SPB clock and if I make it im sure it wont be the same quality as your icons

Anyone else having any lockup issues when using SMS and landscape? I think it may be related to the SMS program I installed and possible WA3.

I use landscape a lot for the keyboard. I might try disabling the theme in landscape and see if that makes a difference.

Actually... you can use any icons you want (even from other themes). All you need to do is grab those icons. I use the clock one from lazyboy's theme and press the icon, then select properties then images and choose the new images. Personally, I copy all the images I want to use into the Iphone_portrait folder under root / themes / desktop.

still a big fan of the them BUT i've noticed a few things since reinstalling WAD et al.

My PocketCM is now prompting with a security message. Also this is much much slower than before when I didn't have the menu bar in black.

Any one else noticing any slowdowns? I also just updated to the latest WA3... I'm tempted to go back to the previous wa3 and see if that fixes things. I've had about 10 lock ups today vs. none yesterday.

Have you went into the options and set that customx to open the cascading start menu on TAP? Then make the other START icon not visible.

hey everyone well my unluckyness is kicking in and my computer is not reading my phone when i plug it in the usb and i lost the software cd that came with the phone anyone got any solututions on how to download a software for my computer to reasd it or anything else and i gotwindows vista if that helps

Will this work for the Alltel version of the Mogul, the PPC6800? Also, how do I backup the original configuration in case I mess up, I can just go back to original? I am also assuming that this will void my warranty?

just use opera mini to download the .zip from the forums, use pocketrar or pocketzip to extract.
you can do pretty much everything without a computer.



if your phone is wm5 or wm6, have wisbar products installed, and with qvga screen, this and everyone else's themes here work. There NO warrenty voiding either.. Its just a 3rd party application that uses my theme.
