Speed Up Java Games?

I'm trying to play Peggle on my Fuze, but it runs SLOW.. I assume this is because it's a Java game and not a native WinMo app..

Is there any way to speed it up so it plays smoothly?

Re: Speed Up Java Games?

Turn the sound off, that is the only thing I have found so far. Java is not compiled to machine code, its an interpreted byte code. The speed would be in the quality of the java run time, which from what I have found for our phones is horrid.
