oh wait it worked!
thanks thanks

Are the ROMs made for the pc emulators compatible with the emulator on my phone?
And if there are different types of ROMs, where can i find them?

The same .GBA rom files that you would use on a regular PC emulator will work and are the only kind. You're on your own to find those though. Glad you got it going.

Ah bummer!

I downloaded this emulator and a .gba of Final Fantasy 2 (I really do own it!), but the game play is a little choppy and in the opening scenes it runs at around 20% speed... maybe the TP just can't handle the awesomeness of Final Fantasy?!

Can someone tell me how to get this to run on the Omnia? The main thing Im having trouble with is movement, it says I have to map buttons to move I guess, but the Omnia doesnt really have buttons except for talk and end.

GBA almost has to have hardware buttons to play comfortably.
Thing is, even megadrive needs three buttons so you are having to use side buttons which makes it unnatural and difficult to hold and play. SNES needs 6 buttons which is basically all the hardware buttons on the Omnia and that is near impossible to comfortably play.

A bluetooth controller makes emulation a much more realistic prospect though.

Thanks so much for the answer Santod. I was willing to use the volume buttons and everything to play it, but when I map those buttons, they never work. The only one that works is the Talk button. Im going to try another game and see if that's the issue....

What about just using the emulators on screen keys, do they work on your Omnia?

I am using Pocket GBA, but it doesn't have the directional keys on there. Only A, B, start, and L and R. I dont see any left, right, up or down. Am I missing something?
