To each is own, I prefer my touch pro 2 because of the ability to modify and use the entire microsoft office on my phone, it comes in handy.

However, there are a few good points about the iphone. In my case, the pro's for winmo outweigh the pro's for the iphone.

Start what? I'm just stating why I switched (happily) from the TP to the iPhone. I'm far from an Apple lover.. I hate their philosophy but the iPhone is one of the most polished phones on the market with high quality apps (not including the 1,000s of garbage apps out there).

Trust me I'm not trying to start anything I'm just giving my viewpoint. I don't have to wake up in the morning and hope the phone didn't lock up and alarm didn't go off, or wait 2 minutes for Opera 9.5 to load and have slow scrolling everywhere.

On-topic: The iPhone just is pretty and has a lot of the same stuff and doesn't change and the apps. WM is a powerhouse but people like pretty and mostly functional and when they can do a little bit of cool things on the iPhone and realize how pretty it is they are hooked. That's why they have attracted so many people.

People are driven by their base desires for the most part, which is why aesthetics almost always wins out over function. I personally would rather have an ugly device that I have to put out a bit of effort to maintain but that does EVERYTHING over something pretty & stable that is very limited.

I can definitely see the appeal of the iPhone, it is gorgeous, and it does what it does pretty well. But it is too limited & too hype-y for me. But, if there was a WinMo iPhone, I'd probably buy one. I like the form factor a lot. There are chinese knockoffs with WM6 & an iphone body, but they're GSM only unfortunately.
