to wait, or not to wait

sup ladies and gents, im an owner of a tp and was wanting to upgrade to something this year. my decision is pretty tough.

my tp has jus started giving me problems as far as lag and hickups. im real patient and not as picky with my phone as others. but at this time im starting to grow old of the WM. the small things that are buggy tend to get to you after a while.

so i decided to take a look at this htc hero thats suppose to come out for sprint real soon. ive always been curious about the android platform. but on the other hand i was so amazed by the new htc hd2. this phone looks amazing with a great processor but running WM, which isnt a big issue with me.

im jus torn between the two and not sure which way to go plus the android might not come to sprint. so i might just be waiting for nothing.

so what is everyones opinion?

Re: to wait, or not to wait

The Hero is definitely coming to Sprint from what I've read...the Pro 2 has gotten pretty rave reviews and will probably be the route I go from my Touch Pro when I upgrade... just fyi, the TP2 has the same processor as the original TP... don't know if you read otherwise somewhere but they are the same...

Re: to wait, or not to wait

same processor huh, so is there any advantage to even going to the tp2. i could pretty much port everything from the tp2 to the tp if thats the case. i think the only diffrence i saw was the conference calling maybe.

the android looks pretty cool but im worried about having that control over my tp2 that i might not have in the hero.

how is the visual quality of the screen compared of the hero and tp? how does the processor compare of the hero and tp?

Re: to wait, or not to wait

well after talking to sprint it seems i have to change my plan to something else besides the sero plan. well i see that as a no-no so im sticking to this tp right now or if i can get my hands on a tp2. im not mad at sprint they are jus trying to get us from this great plan but if sprint piss me off i will jus buy whatever i want and flip it to cricket service.
