The Palm Pre has an excellent user interface., they almost got me with the multitasking applications because that's what i do. but the slide keyboard is too cramped for people with big hands

Re: Which Phone Do You Think Is/or Will Be The Best Of 2009?
Voted HTC Hero! This phone IMHO is the future, Sprint had better get this.
but I think Pam Pre might be a candidate, with the exception of the late SDK release I like everything about the phone. I didn't vote: iPhone 3Gs..... I like the Speed and my 1 iPhone app envy: Google Earth/GPS but not enough of a hardware revamp IMHO. this is the 3rd Gen iPhone and too little has happened hardware wise. HTC Touch Pro2: Because the fanboy in me is gonna buy this phone, regardless of any cons... And like the iPhone, it has too little change in hardware, compared to the previous model. |

Re: Which Phone Do You Think Is/or Will Be The Best Of 2009?
I don't understand these kinds of questions/polls. The best phone is the one that does what YOU need it to do and does it well and also has a provider that has solid service in the areas where you need it.
A phone can have all the bells and whistles that you want, may be the fastest thing on the block with a great screen etc. But if the provider is marginal or iffy who cares. If the carrier is great but the phone doesn't do what you need it to do, who cares. Some of us need or want keyboards, some of us don't need and don't want keyboards. Some need larger screens and some want our phones to be small and easy to carry. Whichever phones meets your needs and has great coverage to support it, then that's the best phone. R |

Exactly!! listen what you just said. this poll is about what phone YOU think would be the best of 2009. Users are voting based on their THEIR wants, needs and demands. If you noticed, that's why there's no CLEAR winner. Different strokes for different folks |

Re: Which Phone Do You Think Is/or Will Be The Best Of 2009?
Reason why I chose the Hero was because the interface is totally customizable (mind you WM is capable too but not way as good as SenseUI).
Love the choice of putting pretty much anything (shortcut, contact, live program (twitter, email)) that I want and need anytime. Plus Android is the way to go now! |

Re: Which Phone Do You Think Is/or Will Be The Best Of 2009?
I voted palm pre. Its like a mix of the smoothness and ease of he iphone, openness of android, and potential of winmo in perfect harmony
Although there isn't a clear winner due to everyone having different opinions and needs so a one-size-fits-all device doesn't exist Ps. Touch pro2 having the lead is a given in this site but my hat off to the pre and hero for being one vote behind in a winmo based forum, that shows promise in them over bias |
