Re: Diamond Vs. Pro HELP!
honestly to questions 1 and 2 the easy answer is that theyre the same exact phones running the same hardware. You can run all the same software and they are identical processors and hardware for the most part, so neither is "faster." You pointed out the only major differences. it call comes down to do YOU want or need the keyboard/more than 4 gigs.

Re: Diamond Vs. Pro HELP!
If you dont use much memory and dont need a keyboard got with the diamond but if you need expandable memory and a keyboard go with the pro both have the same speed and run the same software and the keyboards goin to be loose and wigly if your using the keyboard alot but overall both are great phones

Re: Diamond Vs. Pro HELP!
you good man, check device info as well, you will see OS occupying about 80 mb or so.
If you do not care about SD and kb and you are ok with 4 gb go with the diamond. Last edited by HBOOT; 12-06-2008 at 09:25 PM. |

Oh for my opinion, having owned both the Diamond and Pro, If you aren't a super-heavy texter and can live with 4GB storage, the Diamond is the phone to get. It seems TF3D was designed with the Diamond in mind, and everything just looks and feels so natural. On the Pro in landscape mode, everything seems like an afterthought, from the sluggish KB in SMS, and the barebones menu in landscape. However, that 5-row keyboard makes life MUCH easier for a text ***** like me. Now only if someone (HTC) would release a real GFX driver for the device and fix the nagging bugs, we might just have THE device to get in 2008.

Re: Diamond Vs. Pro HELP!
this thread kinda gave me a headache. the phone at bestbuy was broken because it was broken. don't ABUSE your phone, and it most likely won't break. as for the rest of the questions... it runs windows mobile. it has a vga screen. for the most part, any app that is made for windows mobile, and for vga screens, will work. does do the diamond got which do to get cause the pro got sd card ram does still keyboard and forget not have tv out without pro. i hope that helps.
