Verizon 6800 or 6900

Currently I have a 6700 and I just love it. But its now time to get something new to play with, plus the battery sucks and I want gps.

I'm looking at eaither the 6800 or the 6900. Can someone help me out here.

Does the GPS work for verizon on both phones?
What kind of hacks do the 6800 have verses the 6900?
The 6900 has a Virtual keyboard instead of a slideout keyboard. How good is it? I do a lot of typing on my phone and need a reliable keyboard.

I'm pretty sure you can tether the 6800 for internet on your computer, but can you do this on the 6900? This is a must have.

Thanks, I need to buy one or the other right away while the boss is in the mood to let me.

see the phone comparison forums, there are plenty of 6800 vs 6900 threads in there that should help you make your decision.

Re: Verizon 6800 or 6900

I've had both (sprint version). Get the 6900 and touchpal. When you get good with touchpal, you can get really fast typing (check youtube). It's also alot smaller in depth which helps slide in your pocket. It looks cooler. The operating system is faster and runs more smoothly. When you open the 6900 to type on keyboard you have to wait for the screen to rotate 90 degrees. This is highly annoying as sometimes it bugs out.

On the mogul (6800) side:
The biggest pro is sprint 6900 have good screens while touch's have the severe viewing angle one. It's battery lasts longer (a lot larger) [you can put larger batteries in touch but it'll be alot thicker].
