TP vs Diamond (owners of both)

I had a Mogul to a Touch to an 800w, now have an Instinct for a week....love the instinct form factor, however missing all the pda functions. Is the TP that much better than the Diamond. I undersand the differences, however I question the moving parts, slow screen rotation & added weight and thickness. Overall for those of you that both...which one do u prefer....Id appreciate some help....I would like one of them, however Im just confused. Thanks

Re: TP vs Diamond (owners of both)

There are a TON of threads on this already - it comes down to whether you want a keyboard, microsd slot, and tv out functionality or a thinner device man...

Re: TP vs Diamond (owners of both)

They are both great devices. The Diamond is obviously smaller, but suffers from battery issues on the stock ROM (you would be lucky to get 6-10 hours of usage out of the phone before having to charge). The Touch Pro has excellent battery life stock! I charged my phone yesterday from 3:00pm - 6:00pm 10/31, and I am still at 50% battery life 12am 11/02. My Touch Diamond with Juicy 2.5-2.6 would last about 1.5 days (light usage) before requiring a charge. Some people are reporting variations in the color intensity on the Diamond (white and yellow tint). I went through 2 Diamonds, and the first had a crystal clear white tint screen, the second had a darker yellow tint screen. The Touch Diamond stock is kind of slow, unfortunately, but this can be fixed with a cooked ROM like Juicy 2.7. Juicy 2.6 was a really fast ROM, but suffered from some instability. Overall, I like both devices a lot. The Touch Pro, however, is my favorite.
